I Recvd yours and shud have answerd it last
Post but was prevented by having Compney all things
goes well on hear and Mr Cooper has this Week got a
place to be Colecter for the new river 120 pounds
a year But a mongst all this I am but in part happy
Till I can hear a happy avent from you of the Children
for you are scarce Ever {^out} of my mind for your Dear Child
is your all But I trust in God that he will give sucsess
the small pox is very Bad hear there is 2 or 3 yong Lades
Died this Week 15 or 16 years of age But not of Inockolasion
thair was a Jentelman hear Last night which is all
for it and gave very convincing Reasons for it
I have not seen aney Boddy at London yet But Miss Preston
and Mrs Trout for this is your sisters wash week so came hither
I cannot posebly come down the next jorney so if your
Father wood have me down before the jorney after he
must consent for me to come in this coach Pleas to Let
me know What he sase upon it David comes with me
Pleas to Let me Know how you go on as often as you can
for shall Long for Every Post Day I am sorry to hear that
Poore Dolly Elliott is so Bad which must give you Duble

Apologising for not answering but she was prevented by having company all week, asking Catherine to write as she is scarce ever out of her mind, the smallpox is bad this year and she has heard of two young women that have died, looking to arrange her next visit, she hopes the weather improves as it will favour the children
