I have this Moment parted w.th my Dr
Mr Shuttleworth who is set off for Buxton very poorly
and low he is I pray “God” send the Waters may restore
him, for believe me I am most unhappy ab.t him and my
Spirits no way calculated for this Employ but I coud
not omit filling you how very happy I was in perusing
your friendly favor, to find there was no Complaints of
Indisposition that I hope Miss Moore is got very {?stout}
I am still so lame, that I move ab.t w.th pain and recover
slowly indeed – Petarch has been so highly praised to me,
that I expect great pleasure in reading his Life and am
much obliged to you for granting me that Indulgence –
I hope youl like the Gauze which I think {?neat}
The Gentlemen joine me in Complimts to yrself and
Miss Moore And I am Dr Madm

A short letter, she has just parted from Mr Shuttleworth who as gone to Buxton to take the waters for his ill-health, she is struggling to cope with the separation and is feeling very low, she is very lame and moves about slowly, she is looking forward to reading Petrarch.
