My dear Mary Ann

came here on Sunday.
We are all very well at home
The Lilacs are coming in leaf
The Appletrees are coming in
leaf.
I have sown some scarlet beans,
& some peas & beans.
I like the garden I have now
better than the other.
Mr {?F} Turner is going tomor=
=row morning & I wish he
would stay longer.
I think we shall have no
strawberries this year.

have any wet weather for
a long time.
Dorothy is going to Travis
Mill in Summer & I
think she will like being there,
& I think I shall go with her.
Mr Griffiths brought a parcel
for you.
Ann & Margaret desire to be
remembered to you.
My father brought your
letter from Liverpool.
Bessey won 3{^d} at [illeg]
on Saturday night
Dorothy sends her love to you
I send my love to you.
