My Dear Maryann
I Trust by the time I should
answer your letter we shou’d Have been able to Have
Fix’d The Time for our Removal, yesterday
my Nephew Got a summons to attend the assizes,
my Brother will not wish to leave Home, Before
He Returns, we spend our Time very agreeably
Together Here, I am affraid the Days will be
Shortned, They will Have Too much Evening
I was sorry to Hear By your Fathers Letter
That Mrs Sandback continu’d unwell, I shall be
Glad to Hear a Better account in your next,
We Have Heard Doctr Barns at the Chapel this
Morning, he is Gone to Rochdale this afternoon
to preach a Funeral sermon For Mrs Threlkeld,
we Have a variety of visiting, it wou’d be
Tedious to mention, I must Entertain you with

it at my Return,
My Neice Hath Had a Letter
From Mrs Turner, They Talk of coming to
Manchester For a Few Days, very soon, she says
John will Continue at Newcastle, she Thinks for the present.
I was Glad to Hear Mrs Boardman Hath Been
with you, I ask’d Mr Blackmore if he saw my Dear
Little Dorothy He Thou’t he did not, He Hath a fine
Family, we all went in a Coach to Dine there
Last Thursday, it Hath been very agreeable
your Cousin Betsey Being at Home, she Hath been
of the party every where, I tell them I seem as
if I was at Home, with so many young people
about me, we Have some visits to pay this
week Before she goes, I Think she said she Had
told you, she was not to Go by Liverpool,
I was sorry I did not Tell your Father where to
Find the Bond, I am Glad he Found it,

Tell my Dorothy she must not forget me I often
Talk of Her, shall Be Happy to Have a Letter From
you to Hear you are all well
Our Friends at the Islets at the Mill unites
with me in Love to all, I am my Dear Maryann
