Dear Cousin
I am greatly oblige{^d}
to you for your last letter the Puzzle
you mentioned I cannot answer I
should be glad if you would tell it
me for I have tried to find it out and
cannot. We went to see the Prince
inspect the 4th Class last Monday did
you see him when he was in Liverpoo{^l}
we have begun to bowl our hoops again
as it is rather too cool to go out in a

morning before breakfast without being in
exercise – you ask me what rule I
am in I am in Reduction at present
what work are you doing in school I am
making some shifts for Miss Roberts
and after that is done I am to work
for the Repository have you ever made
anything for it - - My Grandfather has
got the Rheumatism in his shoulder –
I believe he does not purpose going into
Yorkshire this Summer – I think that
is a very pretty Bag that Bessey
made to send to my Aunt Hatfield
and very well net - - We expect Es

ther Hawkes down here to-day do you
know her – Mr Sudlow only comes
once a week now as my Father thinks
I may do with one lesson a week –
Give my love to Bessey and tell her
I will write to her the next opportunity
