Dear Mary Ann
I wish you would
write to me sometimes I shall send this
letter by Mrs Gore who is so good as to say
she will carry it for you. Mr Bolton
our dancing Master is going to have
a Ball the 27th of this month Bessey
and I are to dance at it – most of our
trees are out in blossom – Miss
Roberts Cousins are coming to
live in Manchester at a house

near Salford. I wish your Father
would give you leave to come here
this summer we should be very
glad to see you. My Father has
brought a new whiskey horse it is
not so large as Dun but it draws
very well – have you seen my
Cousin Holmes lately – I hope
she is very well we expect her here
this summer – we take a walk in
a morning before breakfast
I have been writing a letter

to James so that I have not
much to say to you – Miss Ro
berts sends her love to all of you
we go to see Mr Griffiths sometimes
his garden is kept very neat
Little Robert Nicholson is gown
a very fat boy Cousin Matt had
tea here on Monday he thinks
my Aunt Nicholson from the
Park will soon come to Manchstr
