I wish your Father had
brought you with him when
he came to Manchester have you
finished reading the Spectator
yet, I think you write very short
letters, I wish you would make
them a little longer, have you

been to Liverpool lately – I
have been covering a pincu
shion for my Cousin
Holmes she is on a visit at
Travis Mill – Mr and Mrs
Griffiths are very well
we have had very frosty
weather here have you learned
to slide on the ice, I think it

is a very pleasant amusem{^ent}
I am learning to net and
I like it very well – the crocuses
are pushing out of the ground
but are not in flower yet,
Miss Roberts sends her love
to you – does Thomas grow
much, please to write to me
again soon from yr Affecte Cousin
