We had a very
pleasant time at Har
rogate, Tom is got
very well again he
rides out every day
we are going to have
an hot house built

I dare say you were
glad to see James
at home again. I
wish your Father
had brought you
with him here, how
do you like dancing
we have left off at
present I suppose

My Father will have
left Gateacre before
you get this letter.
What work are you
doing now I am
just finishing a
set of shirts for my
Father and when I
have done {^them} I shall

begin to knit a pair
of stockings for my
