Dear Cousin
I hope you are very well for I have
been ill of a sore throat, but not a bad one. I
hope my Aunt and Uncle and all the
family are well. I broke up on the 12 of Decr
I had a very mery{^r}y evening, and I think that
was the occasion of my catching cold. I hope it
will not be inconvenient for me to pay you a
visit, all friends are well in Liverpool, at
present. I have very long Holidays, this Chri-
-stmas not less than 1 Month. People are Bu-
-ilding very fast in Liverpool. I dare say in

40 years your house will be in the Tow-
-n. I hope you write to me soon, for I
shall be expecting a letter soon.
I have nothing more to say to you,
so farewell, I am your Affectionate
