My Dear Charlotte
Nothing but the terrors & Consternations we have been in
could have prevented my writing to you, tho thank God we
seem very quiet at present my head is not quite settled yet
however I wont put off any Longer to thank you for yr very
pretty letter, I am glad you like yr cap & if at any time
you would like to have any thing from hence, I should send
it you with great pleasure, so pray let me hear from you,
yr Aunt Mrs Browne, & her little Girl are both very well.
I saw them Last night, pray present my best & kindest
complements to yr Papa & Mama & Brs, & believe me my Dear
yr most affectionate Grand Mama

& much flaterd with yr kind complements, I beg you will
make myne to Mr Buxton
