Dr Sir
I was favour’d with your letter of the 8th instant, and congratulate you on the addition to your family, and on Mrs Munby and the little stranger being in such good health ---- By tomorrow’s York High Flyer I send a small box with flowers for my Gardener Leonard Urquhart ------- The box will be found early on Monday morning next either at the York Tavern or at Mr Bearparke’s ----- you will much oblige Mrs Earle by letting it be sent to Beningbrough with the enclosed note of flowers to Urquhart ----- The box is directed for me at Beningbrough – I have the pleasure to say, that Mrs Earle’s health & spirits are much improved --- as for me, I have no ostensible gout, but my nerves continue to be much relaxed------
I am, Dr Sir,
much & very sincerely, yours
G. Earle
