Dear Sir
I have to acknowledge the favour of your two letters of the 19th & 27th instant ---- I write, [illeg] I [illeg] that at the time this letter reaches York, you will be at Harrogate ---- I am glad to hear you found the {?Tenants} so [illeg] and that I am so rich; but I {?reflect} you think my spirits require a cordial, and so [illeg] me up with an idea that I am more affluent than I fear I shall find myself in June -------
I have the great consolation to assure you, that Mrs Earle’s health is good, and her spirits, though at {?times} refreshed, better than I cou’d have expected ----- I am much as you last saw me, a bundle of complaint, yet not [illeg] nor in my apothecary’s {?Stable} ---- Mrs Earle’s and my best regards visit on yourself and Mrs Munby ------ I am, Dr Sir,
[illeg] [illeg] yours G Earle
