Dear Doughters
We recd yours and obsarve you wish to have
our company in your return from School,
but at this time there are several things for which
it is not so convenient to leve home, and not
Only so but suppose your Mamma & I
Was to come we should not be company
together down, as no Chase with two Horses
Would bring us, and suppose we had four
Horses we could not sit cumfurtablley
and we find your Uncle Richardson hath
prolong’d his time till Wednesday next
before he sets out, if not longer, of which
time he {?likely} me give you notes so you
Must hould your selves in ridyness
I hope Mr & Mrs Trinder Will excuse our
{?Interview} with them at this time, we can
assure them it is not for Want of respect
[vertical left side] you must let us know the exact time for our meeting in
at Masefield if you can

and hope we shall always retaine a sence of
there kindness both to you & us for there ernest
desires and I doubt not but {^fervent} prayers for [deleted]
[deleted] us, and shall be verry glad to see tham at
Manchr if at any time the can Make it
Agreeable I have inclosd you a Bill Vallue Ten
Pounds which you Must give your Uncle
For him to sittell With Mr Trinder which I
Hope will nearly pay him and bring you down
If Not I suppose you have {^Cash} by you to [deleted ]
Make out, you must behave genteelly to
the Servants if you are at a loss to know what
to give you must make Inquiry privately
What is Usil, now you must not be discourgd
when you receive this you know our affection
