My Dear Sister/
I shoud have wrote on tuesday
but we were engag’d on monday with Mr
& Mrs Bancroft & several others we came to
dine, drink tea, & spend ye evening so I really
had not time as mornings are so short,
& this evening I am stealing ye time & tis
now near eleven a Clock: my Uncle P
being here all night has prevented me
till now. I have nothing particular to
mention only yt we are all thro mercy
very well but Miss Grundy who is very
poorly. Willm told me he saw you on
saturday & brought us ye parcel yt you sent
Cousin R desire her love to you & intends
writing soon – It is late so must conclude
