Miss Dix
Last time we had the Pleasure of your Company you
Promised to come again the next week, but hearing Joe was at
your house I did not expect you till he was gone which being on
Saturday Last, Renewed my expectations which proved but
disappointment, however I design if [damaged] prevents, to come
and see you on Sunday Afternoon but the Weather being Pre-
carious I will not Promise & if you are otherwise engaged dont
confine yourself on my account
