My Dear Uncle Matt
I received your letter {^glad} to get
it. I hope you are very well. I am very well. Answer this soon.
Mr Shepperd is gone somewhere but I don’t know where
He is very well Mrs Shepperd is well. Cozin Sam is to
come on Sunday with James Boardman. I was glad
to see Uncle Tom on Thursday last. Coz Sam was

Here last sunday I am in long Division now.
Duckworth is gone with Mr Shepperd today.
The gardens are very nice. There is two other gardens
made now. Tonight is {?Rice/Piece} night. Last night
we went to bed as soon as we chose we got up
with Mr Shepherd this morning at quarter before
five o’clock but we played from twenty minutes
after seven o’clock till nine o’clock this morning
give my love to my aunt Boardman & Cozin Bes-
=sy James & Sam Uncle Boardman and yourself
