I rec’d your letter last night & sho’d have met you at Mr Eddg’s
this morning if the weather had been favourable for walking –
so I cannot meet you it will be same thing to express my
sentiments on paper which are that I think it highly proper
Ann Lynsdales Mother sho’d have some provision from Her Daughter
& I think it cannot be less than 10 Pounds per an’m. If she her
Ann has now sufficient allowance make no application on my
account unless we sho’d be again distressed by sickness –
I would not have this Business communicated to Ann
at school as I have always prepared her mind to expect her
Mother to make such a demand on her feelings and purse & ye know her
so well that I am certain she will tell her Mothers situation
to all around her
I am sorry to hear you are indisposed & fear
this fogg will be bad for your complaints
I am Sir
Your obliged etc
