Christina Findlay to David Anderson, 14 [?February] 1790
She knows he is as anxious about their daughter Ann as she is, and reports that she is doing well. She went to see a group of women and reports at length on the changed appearance and clothing of Miss Lucy Johnstone, who is no longer elegant and beautiful but ‘a Masculine figure’. She has been taking bark twice a day and thinks it does her good. She is worried for his health. Ann sends ‘many a Kiss’.
