I am just arrived at York & find
my coming to Manchester would be attended with many inconve=
=niences, will only send you a few lines that you may not
Have the trouble that you had before in looking out for me,
I can say little at present as I have rode between eighty
& ninety Miles to day; I will write you the particulars
as soon as I can; I live in the hopes of seeing you
next year if all is well; in the mean believe me your
Sincere & much oblig’d friend
