Dear Sisr
Our dear Dolly was with me on Satterday proposed
Writing to you by the hands of Mr Broadbent I was willing
to Imbrace ye same Opportunity of addressing my self to
my ever Valuable & beloved friend to Inform her of the fate
of her favourite Nephew DC as you Express{^t} a desire
in your last to dolly to know, & she having an abundance
of things to tell you, begd me to give you the Perticulars
of the Wedding, the first of this Month was tied ye
Indissolvable Knot which nothing but Death can sunder
Thay was Married at our Church were was the Bride
& Groom her father three Jentleman of his Acqentance
The Brides Man a friend of Davd his too Brors Miss Nickless
& another young Lady Bride Maids when the Ceremony
Was performd thay drove to the Mare Maid at Hackney
Where we all assembled to Dinner that is to say my Self
& my dear Partner Charles & dolly Mrs Wilson a Jentleman
& his Wife of thare Acquentance was Met by Bror Thos
His Wife Peggy Charles & Kitty to ye Number of twenty
One. For Dinner had too Dishes of Fish Salmon Boild
Soals fryd 6 fowls 2 Toungs a Quarter Lamb 2 Hares
Tarts &ce after dinner had a Dance in ye New Assembly
Room. Drunk Tea at 8 OClock at 9 came home to our
separate Houses only the 2 Bride Maids the Bride Man
& the too Brors Accompanyd the new Married pair to
Hollywell St. for ye Remander of the Evening. I hope
Thay will be very Happy no he is goodnatured & she
is, tho young very prudent she behaves to Mr Cooper & me
with grate Affection & to yee Brors with Equal pleasure
at present have reason to like his Choise as I flatter
my self I shall find a Daughter in her as it shall
be my Study to Act ye part of a Mother to her.

was very sorry wee coud not be favord with
your Company on the Occation but hope the Spring
will bring you to town if it is only to Rob us
of our Worthy good Girl ye loss will be very
sensibley felt by me as she is a grate Comfort to
me on Several Occations yet if it will prove
a happy Settlement for her [deleted] {^will} devest my self
of all Self for her good & rejoice at her being
agreeably Settled. For a few years will make a grate
alteration both in her & thing which hath made
me rather an Advocate for ye Match soposing
him Qualifide to render her Easy & Happy
in your Next Shoud be glad to hear your Sentiments
upon ye Affair - - - is very glad you have put
your little Girl to Scool as it is ye Only way
to preserve both her Health & Morals my best
Love & respects attend all your family & friends
