Gratitude my dear Sisr oblidges me after a long silence
To Resume my Pen, to return our most Sincere thanks for your
Repetted favour, of a Hare & Hang Beef which came to hand
on {?Thuesday} last, which I have Dressed & is Extreemly good hath
sent a little this Morning to Bror Cooper who is Excesive fond of it
& he not being well of some time it may prove a Relish for him
Sopose by this time hath got a little Christian aded to our family
of which I wish you joy of hope Sisr hath got well up again
hath never heard of her since yr letter that Informd me of her
Safe Deliverry I am Realy Angry at Bror Johns Silence as he might
Be asured we was Concernd in her Welfare but sopose wee were to
Depend on ye Old Proverb (no News is good News) hope is is just & Hold
good with her – Mr & Mrs Hare was at Charles on Thuesday but
Where they proposed spending that & the Next day but had not
Sisr been calld to Lion, down ye Next Morning on ye Death of her
Unkle beleave they are {^now} at Hackney – hath not seen Charles or
his wife since therefore I cannot tell how far he hath Rememberd
them in his Will. Molly tould me when she came up, you proposed
Coming to town after Cristmass hope I need not say to you how glad
I shoud be to see so dear & Valueable a friend your next shall with
Impatience waite for in hope’s of it being Confirmd by you ------
Mr Cooper Orderd Oysters to be sent as this day by ye Leeds Coach
accordingly hath Wrote Letters to our friends of advice {^to go} by ye
Post to Night my self was to Inform you, but since I set down
to Write ye fishmonger came to tell me they are not sent [deleted]
Mr Cooper being gone out of town shall detain ye letters -----
however was determined to send this, & leve my Master to give you
ye Nesessery advice with our other friends – I long to hear
if peace & Harmony is in the Doctors House & if Mrs Moulsworth
is in a way to make him a Granfather – my Duty love & best Wishes
attend all friends Wishing them & you a Happy (Nay Many Happy)
