Ashenhurst August ye 31st. 1707.
Dear Sister
On Wednesday night last I got well home, ye pain I had had not
yet quite left me, but I hope I shall be perfectly recovered in a
little time it being much better; I should be glad to heare of ye
time of yE. coming to Ashenhurst wch. I hope ye good harvest
Weather will allow to be very speedily. My FatE. gives his service
to my BrotE. & [del] {?yEse} Blessing to yEself & Frank. BrotE Franc
(who was much out of yesterday but is well recovered to day
& Nancy joine with me in service to [deleted] my BrotE {^yEself &} Str. Allen
with thanks for yE yE kind entertaint. when last with
you I conclude & c.

Thomas Hollinshead to his Sister Stanley, 31 August 1707
Thomas pain in his side had not qute left on his return home from visiting his sister Stanley, but he hopes he will be recovered soon. Their brother Franc was unwell yesterday but is now better. He hopes the weather will be good enough for his sister to travel to see him soon.
