Dear Sister
I hope this will find all well at ye Parke; We have heard nothing
Directly from Brookhouse since you were here, but last Week Richd.
Nixon going to ye coalpit Met Str. Hampton & Mr Allen with other
company upon Wesley Moore going to Buxton; we have heard by
several, & I believe ‘tis true, yt old MEs: Allen ye GrandmotE. has
been very kind to her Grandson, in giving him both household goods
Mony & some Plate, [deleted] Str. Hampton’s cloaths are gone. pray let us
know by ye first opportunity whether you have heard any thing from
her, My FatE. gives his Service to my BrotE. Stanley & blessing to yEself
& ye children BrotE. Franc & Nancy joine with me in Service to my
BrotE. yEself & them I am & c.
I will see you at ye Park as soon as possible.

Thomas has heard nothing directly from his Sister Hampton but reports suggest her new husband has received support from his grandmother; her clothes are missing. He asks Sister Stanley to let him know as soon as she can if she hears from Hampton.
