William Coopers Lease as you will percieve by my Sister’s is determin’d
Hall he is well satisfied to have
of a Lease & Release for making {^a} Tent. to a {?PEcipe}, of your own writing, so
yt if you please to send me ye Parties names & ye {?PEmises} I believe I can
draw ym. by
of next Post, if Business will not permit you to return by that Time;
shall long to heare of ye Proceeding of ye Exchequer Affairs. Have told Mr
Walthall as you ordered are {?of} last, he returns you his humble Service & {^[illeg]}
many Thanks for yE Trouble & Pains in his Business {^but is very unwilling to
to heare from his son James concerning his Grandaughter as I wrote you last Post.
I pray for our speedy & happy meeting & am &c.
We heard accidentally yt there had been a great misfortune among ye children at ye Park by over-
turning a cart I went thither on Thursday last, Tom & Will were both in ye Cart, wn. it turn’d over &
over Tom was thrown out so yt ye Wheele fell upon his Side, he is at present very weake but can [deleted]

walk; so yt they hope he will recover, Will was under ye Body of ye Cart, so was
only a little bruised of wch. he is perfectly well.

Lawrence is still wanting his son James to take care of his granddaughter. An accident with a cart in which two of the Stanleys’ children were riding has left Tom weak and Will bruised. Contains shorthand.
