Ashenhurst Aprill ye 8th 1704.
Deare Sister
It would be joyfull News to us to heare yt you were so well as
to undertake a journy to Ashenhurst, & could leave Franc. so long.
of whose Health & all ye Family’s I hope we shall be assured by this
Bearer. My Father did not recieve my BrotE. Stanley’s Letter till
after he had sent away that to you, Nurse not coming home till Saturday
she presents her serviceto & gives you many Thanks for her whilst
with you, she will get ye Reciept for Wigs, had not Time or [del] she
would have sent itby this Bearernow BrotE Franc joins with me in Service to
yEself my BrotE. Stanley & ye children I am &c.

Thomas hopes his new nephew (Franc) is well enough for his sister to leave him to visit her brother. The nurse has returned and sends her service and thanks to Sister Stanley.
