Deare Sister
I hope this will find all well at ye Park I intended to have written last Weeke, but ye disappointmt.
very wet journy, & a very dangerous one by reason of ye Waters
were out beyond what he had ever seen ym. but is now pretty well againe
Sisters joine with me in Service to yEself my BrotE & ye children,

Thomas has delayed writing to his sister because his father came home, having had a wet and dangerous journey. He urges his sister to send the nurse home as soon as possible (though deletes this line from the draft letter).
