Dear Sister
I hope this will find all well at ye Parke; I have had a
Letter from my Father wherein he writes yt he has made
Some Enquiry into my Unkle George Hampton’s Affair, & has
reason to hope for some success in it, yt my Aunt Mossman has
entered a Caveat against any Ones taking out Letters of Admi-
-nistračon & yt he intended to do ye same for us; he has not yet
Set any certain time of coming home. My sister Hampton is
preparing to see you at ye Park; & will not defer it beyon ye
Time you appointed, Nancy will write to you by her, with all
our Services to my Brot. Stanley Aunt Birtles & ye children
I conclude Dear Sister yE most affectionate Brot.E.

Thomas’ sister is in late pregnancy and her reports that their sister Hampton is preparing to come and visit; their other sister Nancy will send a letter with Hampton. Their father has been dealing with their Uncle Hampton’s affairs though has not said when he will be coming home.
